Press: Houston House & Home Magazine!

Look for us in the November 2011 issue of Houston House & Home Magazine!

Marie will be sharing her favorite Houston shopping destinations for decorative accessories.

Here is a sneak peek:

Found – One of my favorite places to find truly unique furnishings and accessories is Found. This charming shop, tucked away near Rice Village, maintains an eclectic mix of classic, vintage and industrial pieces. If you are looking for that special item that not only makes a statement but also becomes a conversation piece…. This is your place! (My Product Pick: The industrial accent items. These almost sculptural pieces add character to any home)

Plush Home – For the best bedding and bath accessories in Houston – head to "Plush Home". Their lavish selection of fully customizable bedding offers a wide range of products from basic to luxurious. The staff is extremely helpful and can work with you or your designer to help create your dream bedroom…from thread count to feather duvet. (My product pick: The Sateen Duvet. This amazing duvet is light as a feather but provides the soft comfort of a typical feather duvet – a perfect option for our Texas Summers!)

Unique Art of Houston – Do you want the “model home” look? The Houston interior designer’s secret gem is "Unique Art of Houston". Though you need to work with an interior designer for access, their wall décor, accessories and small furnishings are exquisite and the prices can’t be beat. (My product pick: The Customizable Canvases. You can select any print you want and their amazing staff will turn it into a fine art canvas)

Design House – If you are working with an interior designer – be sure to check out "Design House" at the Houston Design Center. The showroom owners are constantly visiting the various design markets and bringing back fabulous finds. Their distinctive collection of lighting and accessories always has the latest trends and fashions. Be sure to also visit their new showroom “Fabric House” next door. (My Product Pick: The accent pillows! The textures and fabrics are some of the most beautiful in Houston!)

High Fashion Home – Be sure to block out your entire afternoon before visiting "High Fashion Home". This 4 story, 125,000 square foot home décor store, is sure to inspire and provide all your home furnishing needs. High Fashion Home offers an endless selection of accessories in every style. (My product pick: The lighting selection! Their lamps and pendants are gorgeous and offer selections for any style)

Cheers,
