At MFI, we love decorating of all kinds, and we have 5 Halloween décor staples that you need on-hand every time this haunted season comes to town!
1. Apothecary Jars: You simply can't go wrong with a set of apothecary jars.
|You can find these jars in just about any shape and size!|
Elements of Style Blog
They are a traditionally beautiful accessory that can stand in your home year-round. Once October hits, you can fill them with all sorts of festive goodies - think candy, plastic spiders, or gooey toy eyeballs!

3. Chalkboards: Chalkboards have made a HUGE comeback. It's not that they truly ever went anywhere, but craft maidens and party planners all over are using them for a mix of purposes.
We suggest using one in your home to keep your weeks organized 11 months out of the year. Once the month of October hits, help your chalkboard get a lil creepy!
4. Wreath: Ah, the trusted wreath! Maybe it's the Southern ladies in us, but we don't think you can properly announce any special day without the addition of a wreath.
Halloween wreaths are particularly fun and we are loving the burlap variety.
Keep in mind that burlap makes for a beautiful addition to any table setting or vignette - invest in some this fall season and store it with the rest of your home décor. There's no telling what you may decide to use it for next year!
5. Pillows - Black pillows can easily set a macabre tone in your living space! Not to mention, if you find the right pillow, it could even stay on a couch or chair in your home for the rest of the year. There are so many fun ones to choose from. Mix it up for Halloween - it's certainly a season when you can throw out the rules (do rules even exist?)!
